Five ways to make your sl family life better.

1. Spend time with your family. Take the time to go places with them get to know them. Knowing them makes wanting to be with them a lot more fun.

2. Sit down with them have a meal together. This will give you time to chat about things together. You may even find out from doing this that you have a lot in common.

3. Have a game or movie night. This will give everyone a fun opportunity to hang out with each other and to also ruin any chances of mom getting quiet time with her man.

4.Do something outside the home. Get involved in your community, go and help out around the holidays to people in need. This will build character in the kids and make everyone feel better about them selves knowing that there helping others.

5. Always make/take time to goof off with your family, because nothing makes a good time like laughter.

 Being in a sorority doesn't just give you a chance to make new friends, but to also learn lots of new things like how to show support and awareness for diseases and horrible illnesses. So were getting the word out on Kidney diseases and how they can be prevented and how you can help.

What does being a LOYAL sister mean to me!

Loyalty!! I am a loyal sister, I stand by my sister though the thick and the thin, see i know the value of being loyal and i know as a PDP sister that something we strongly believe in, we believe in being Loyal that it even in our handbook, my loyalty to my sister mean alot to me, I put myself in the mind frame such as this we are just not a soro these young ladies are my sisters we are family, and i dont know about you but i am loyal to my family, loyal is somthing i dont have to pracitce because it is a value that i believe in. The thought of a sister backstabbing me would hurt me, an sister is not loyal is no sister of mine.. So loyalty to me mean a lot with my sister.

What do I enjoy most about being apart of PDP? There are several thing I enjoy about being apart of PDP, I love our sisterhood that we share, I love how if i am going thought thing my sister are there to have my back, my PDP is my family, we are a loyal group that stick together, I love how we think out side of other soro group, We are just not a Soro that just believe in parting, We as a soro believe in so much more, we love to give back, we do fun flied thing for our young kids, we strong believe in God with an outstanding Faith, See I could go on and on about why i enjoy being in PDP, because we are a Soro No we are a Sisterhood of so much Value, We bring you strong, loyal, faith having, unity and so much more with PDP sisterhood.

The best thing about being apart of Pi Delta Pi is that we are a group of sisters that are there when other people walk out and leave you. Your sisters are your support team no matter what is going on in your rl or sl they are there for you. I love the fact that  fact that my sisters are here in times when I need them the most. and we have a bond that is unbreakable.

My reason for joining PDP is quite obvious. Pi Delta Pi was formed to create a true sisterhood of love, respect, support loyalty, dedication, and a sense of community service.  I wanted to be part of something bigger than just myself and a sisterhood.  I spent most my time on second life doing nothing ,  so i wanted to do something constructive with people who are family oriented and close. I stand firm behind the principles of  Pi Delta Pi, .Love, Respect, Support, Loyalty, Dedication, and Community Service. I enjoy being around amazing and self motivated women.  When I think about being in a Greek life, I truly think about sisterhood.

There is voluminous reason in which I wanted to take part in Pi Delta Pi Sorority. It is the fact that in life you must understand where you fit in life, what direction in which you what your life to go, Pi Delta Pi is truly where I want to be. I believe in honoring my peers uplifting them in any and every way and indeed this is one of the things in which sticks out about Pi Delta Pi. It is the community service in which these sisters have proving time and time again that they are the leaders. One of the things in which lead me to Pi Delta Pi was a fundraiser they hosted with to raise money for Lupus, which is very dear to me seen that I am a family member has Lupus also I had a friend that has pasted from it as well. Also the Breast Cancer awareness that PDP hosted, these are two events in which my small business Pillow Talk also raise money for as well.

The total love as well as respect is another thing in which I values as well. I so love the motto my sisters as myself. That is a very deep and powerful statement if you look at it the correct way. I believe in anything you need some form of unity to make things go as plan. When viewing my sisters as myself I would be loyal to them, treat them like the true Delta Queens in which they are: I honor them and stand by them, I am devoted to them, I am grateful, and I give them total praise in any and everything. If my sister is myself that means we are one of the same, we hold equal values because she is not bigger nor smaller we are evenly balanced out. Our colors are so amazing soft yet hold a powerful effect. Silver is such a power house color because gold turns dim when dirty but silver stays silver. Silver when shines and clean shins bright as the moon light on a nice of romance under the stars. Pink is a calming color which is always refreshing to view. Pink is soft yet humble, it is pretty and yet allows people to see you from afar. So to combine some soft as well as very bold colors together is another thing that stood out to me.

Another thing that I love is that we represent the Diamond which is my favorite gem. You see the diamond holds great value; diamonds have been in ancient and recent times symbolic of different things in different cultures the world over. The history of diamonds is one of mystical power, beauty and commercial expertise. The earliest symbolic use of diamonds was as the eyes of Hindu devotional statues. The diamonds themselves were thought to be endowments from the gods and were therefore cherished. The Greeks believed diamonds were tears of the gods; the Romans believed they were splinters of fallen stars and that they brought courage and bravery during battle. Today, diamonds are used to symbolize eternity and love, being often seen adorning engagement rings. Another powerful reason why I am truly pleased and honored to be a Pi Delta Pi sister.

Life Reflection

I thought that when two people joined a union it is supposed to be a commented that they will be together. What happens when the bond is violated? When trust is out the door than dysfunction kicks you in the ass, or you in the wrong for want for wanting to leave? Than in your the mind your ideal as well as thoughts become cloudy, your heart races with guilt only because you allowed someone in that should not have been allowed to even step on your door step. In awe because we danced this dance and now that the lights are no longer on we pretend that what we have is real when in the mind we have already went our own way. It is a shame that things never are as pretty as they seem. Often we can play a game so long it becomes reality. Yet how do we let go, how do we move on from this? They say let the past stay in the past; however, when you can’t see anything more than lies or the trust that was broken it is in the best interest that two that was once one become one. It is sad and emotional because we have it planned a life that was meant to stand the test of times and yet, it did not happen. No need of dragging what is reality any longer, the fact that we know now that this is not going to work it is just time for us to leave. The ride was a great ride at first; we had lots of great times, now it is time for us to depart from one another peacefully.

This is not about the psychically relationships that we have with a person, this is dealing with anything in which can harm you emotionally. In fact I am talking about all things such as, drinking, drugs, overeating, depressive behaviors and things in this nature. It is easy to let go however, just because you let go does not mean that you will not want to look back. When we go through life changes it is good to build a support team. This helps us understand that we have someone that is there when other may or may not be there as often as we need them. We all need each other to build each other to lean on from time to time.

Sorority Life: The True Meaning Of Sisterhood

what does Pi Delta Pi mean to me

I am a proud sister of Pi Delta Pi. I walk to the beat of my sisters drum. Being a Delta is much more than a sorority in my eyes. When I need uplifting I have my sisters that are here that uplift me to be the Queen that I am. My sister's come first my sorro comes first because they and I are one. There is no greater joy in this world to know that you are equal in all things and that people are here for you.

My sisters are diamonds that shine as bright as the sun.
we shine as one in unity
I honor my sisters with my heart
If one is down I am down yet I uplift them with my heart

We stand unity never divided we are mighty in all of our ways we are sisters which stand together. I am honored because without my sisters by my side I would feel incomplete. Life lessons 101

One isn’t necessarily born with courage, but one is born with potential. Without courage, we cannot practice any other virtue with consistency. We can’t be kind, true, merciful, generous, or honest. Sometimes we forget that life is something that is so short and at any minute it can be taken away. It is the little things that we look to people to help us along this path of life. Love is a virtue in which we seek with our hearts and yet, we allow our minds to overpower what the heart feels. A lot of times it is the people in which we so called call our best mates, besties, bff and others that can do more harm than good. In a relationship it is supposed to be true merciful, generous, and honest sometimes one will fail us but true love knows how to overcome the bumps and the pain. Surly no one that walks this earth is perfect we are not the creator, but we must understand that as the Creator forgives us every time we mess up, we should try and do the same with others.
