Our Sisterhood is so unbreakable it's amazing how we come together as one...PDP is where I know I should be, no matter what one of my sisters are are always there to put me up when I am down, The Few Months that I have been in Sl. 2014

This year has had many painful issues for many people. 2014 is a chance to do away what you was use to doing last year it is a wrap. Pack all of them painful things in a box and throw it in the trash. It is a new year that is about to come and live it in peace and happiness and enjoy it. we only have a little life so why waste a minute of it on drama, worries, and in a lot of fake people faces that care nothing about you. Delete them and keep it moving. Focus in on making major changes in your life. My biggest goal for 2014 is building a stronger bond with my family my true family and friends. I am pulling away from giving to people in 2014 that can not give to me if I needed it.

Standing on Faith.....

If you did not know I am battling Lupus. Someday are great others not so good one thing that keeps me going is that I know that troubles don't last always. I fight to live not live to fight, everyday I wake up no matter how hard it hurts I get on my knees and that God for one more day. I stand on faith and I believe that God is on the thrown and he will take away all the pain in due time.

I give my heart and soul to others because Christ gave his life for me. When others understand that this is a battle that God will take off your hands than they will find the peace I have. 2014 is in reach and I believe that it is going to be a year to rejoice in. Someone is coming out of depression, someone is coming out of an abusive relationship, Cancer will be removed, HIV/AIDS will be rebuked, families will be restored and them that we love we will have a much stronger bond.

I can speak on this opening because I am standing on the faith that whatever you go though in life God has something better in store. I stand on faith because God has never failed me as people born in the world has, which I do not hold ill feelings on them. I smiled by faith they have been removed for a reason and that is because my faith have giving me peace.


I have lupus but lupus does not have me. I have learn to stand still and let God's will be done.

Life without meaning......

We often invite the uninvited into our lives not fully understanding that many people are seasonal people.  You can who a person truly is by their actions in which they have made to other on a consistence bases. Their action shows their true self for who they truly are.  They have no truly direction on who they are nor where their loyalties lie.

In other words these are the people in which will hurt you or cause drama into your life. They are only seasonal people and these people are only meant to show you what your purpose in life is. Now you may say what you mean Cei, and this is what I mean. People will enter your life for many reasons.

1)    You many have a friendship with their ex and they use you to keep tabs on them. These types of people will try and make your life hell. Drop them the minute they began to ask questions about who or what that ex is doing.

2)    Confused and mental people will enter into your life as a mate, because they have no ideal in what they want they will try and change the person you are in order to find peace within them. These people you can live without. Mainly because they are the kind of people that lives off their own impulse.  It is not fair to yourself to have someone play mind games and have you upset and they enjoy watching you feel that way.

Mark twain wrote this: A man's character may be learned from the adjectives which he habitually uses in conversation.

That this quotes when you do a cleanup on your friends list and apply it to all your friends. Look at their actions not only to you but to others, and if you see the same actions time and time again the relationship that is

My Sister As Myself... that motto means so much to me, and i clearly understand what it mean, when I feel like Im alone I am not, I have my sister right there behind me, and when I spoke with one of my Sister about something I was going though she did not pass judgement and that meant so much to me, So to my sisters that Motto is just not a Motto they just say, they Stand up to it, My Sister As Myself,  I can proudly say I am so happy to be surround by sister PI DELTA PI SISTERHOOD

Pledging Pi Delta Pi was the best thing I could have done, See I don't have any Family on SL so pledging for this sisterhood made me want it even more. It was a long Week but it taught me thing along the way. The main thing I learn while pledging was that I wasn't alone... My soon to be sister's were right there from the start until the end. Seeing that just made me want to be apart of this sisterhood even more. It also taught me how to work for what you want, it taught me how to be a team player and how if one sister isn't around it okay to step in for her, because we are a family. I am Glad to say I am a new Sister of Pi Delta Pi!!! BIG SISTER MS HOLLYWOOD =D

Sometimes we will face some trajectories that may make us feel frustrated or annoyed, and sometimes mentally strained. Often the stress of disputes can make us feel defeated, you lack confidence in your abilities to function as you would on an everyday bases. It feels as if you have no one to listen to you, or to understand your point of view. You become bitter and angry at the world based off the bust of emotions you seek for others. Face it; we all go through this at one time or other. Never the less, you do not have to face distress alone.
This week I learn there are a lot of people in this world that is unhappy with them, and are hell bent on conveying pain and misery into others life. I can say this you are all my sisters and you do not have to ever fell down. Life is not ever meant for you to face it alone. Even Jesus got help carrying his cross, you are no different, nor are you any better. Never should you feel the need that you would want to leave your sisters or family, for any reason. If you are going through something, you need support, uplifting, you need your sisters standing by your side. Your never alone speak up, that is what my sister as my self is all about.
Life can kick you in the ass as long as you allow it too.  You can determine your outcome and only you can make that choice if you want to walk down that dark and creepy street by yourself, or  have your sisters stand by you guild you and help you cross that street beside you.
We are one in unity our bond should be as strong as a bass drum so loud that people five blocks away can hear us.  We should be like a tree planted on the banks of a river, standing tall and mighty side by side beautiful so passer byes shall see the beauty. Sisters no matter how dark your days get your never alone.

Sometimes there comes a moment when things are destined to change. We grow closer together, but sometimes unwillingly we grow apart as well. For the sisters who are no longer with us we will miss you incredibly. Monday starts a new line!!!

I can't wait to Monday. Its time again for another line of fine young ladies come to pledge to join our family. I love this time for it allows us to meet other incredible women with like minds. It allows us to expand our friendship and allows us to bond with more. This week we trying our new process and I hope it goes over smoother. We have a lot of great events planed and I hope they enjoy it more then I do.

My Sisters

I have been in secondlife for far too long now. Over the years I have met alot of people and well one thing I have learned is I didnt really mix with females well. I decided to join a sorority to try to work on that and to broaden my sl experiences. I have to say I couldnt be happier I did.

I had a huge trust issues even though it is 'just a game' as some say but in the end we are all real people with real feelings. We meet people we get attached and we laugh, cry and hurt. One thing that just cant be prevented no matter what you say.

Thanks to my time with PDP I have learned that trust again. Also I have learned that we all here have alot of the same things in common. I have grown close to my Sisters and I'm thankful for them. I know if I need someone to talk to they are there. If I need a shoulder to cry on I can count on them as well. We all laugh,cry, hurt and joke together as one. When one of us hurts we all feel it.

My Sisters are everything to me and I'm thankful to have each of them and looking forward to the sisters that will join us in the future and only hope they will feel the same way I do about each and ever PDP Sister.

Halloween Time

Halloween time is one of the funniest times around. I'm looking forward to the PDP& Zetas Halloween bash this month. Nothing more fun then decorating around the lands and picking out the perfect costume. So much to chose from there is. Well the best part will be parting with my sisters!

New Month

Today starts a new month.. Soo looking forward to what this month will hold. The best part is its Halloween month! Love october for the leafs start to change and the wind gets that chill. We have a month filled with good events from toga party to holloween bash to a recruitment week. I"m looking forward to the fun to come!

~Monday~

Well its another monday. Another new week another new start. Most monday's drag on and on but at least this one has something good to offer. We started the next pledge line. Go PDP! I'm excited about this to see how it goes and to meet new girls. Having just gone threw the process myself it can seem like its asking alot but in the end I'm glad for all that had to be done. I have a new family and some of the best sisters and friends a person could ask for. I only hope these girls take time to get to know one another and each of the sisters to build that bond that i'm so lucky and thankful to have today. Love you All!

New start with Pi Delta Pi

First off I'd like to say HIIIII! I"m Alli or Big Sister Quiet Storm. I"m the newest addition to PDP... The adventure to get here was a challenging but very rewarding one. Threw the pledge week  it was fun but made you think and learn both about yourself and the sorority its self. In the end it was well worth it. I have made friends and a sisterhood with some of the most awesome ladies one could wish to know. It feels good to be apart of something where everyone shares the same feelings and cravings to better them self and to form a strong bond. Many of my friends asked me what I was thinking when I said I was going to pledge a sorority in second life. What do you benefit from it? What does it have to offer? Was just some of the questions I was faced with. Well I can answer that. It gives friends, a family. People you know you can turn to when your happy or sad. It gives you that feeling of belonging and helping out to watch it grow. Being a  part of something special is what it has to offer. Weather its meeting other Sororities or Frats or doing charity events its a blast. Anyways thats my little spill lol. If your part of a sorority or frat rep it proud and if your looking to join one I would encourage it strongly.. Hint Hint Pi Delta Pi all the way! * Winks*

There's nothing better then knowing you always have someone to sit on...I mean, lean on when you need it...

Loyalty is reciprocal. Otherwise, should be named different. Maybe abuse.

We all are humans. We all can err. But when you are holding a position of loyalty, your behavior relative to others is revisited with a complex air of trustfulness that only they can feel, and you should protect carefully.

The game is on when others think you have broken that loyalty. It doesn't matter if you are in one or the other side. With the shadow of doubt permanently hanging over you, the question becomes more complicated. A brick in the wall is always dangerous.

It’s time, then, to take a step further, and reconsider what are the fundamentals of that feeling, and if you could be blinded by them. Maybe the betrayed one is not the more weaker party.

Talking in terms of loyalty, life is too complicated to explain. Sometimes we know we have been betrayed, and don’t deny our loyalty. We all deserve a second chance. But as long as we grant it to others too.

To forgive is not easy. Assuming a betrayal isn't either.

Suicide Facts

Suicide takes the lives of nearly 30,000 Americans every year.

Many who attempt suicide never seek professional care.

There are twice as many deaths due to suicide than HIV/AIDS.

Between 1952 and 1995, suicide in young adults nearly tripled.

Over half of all suicides occur in adult men, ages 25-65.

In the month prior to their suicide, 75% of elderly persons had visited a physician.

Last year SAVE received 810 requests for information from 72 countries.

In 2004 it is estimated there were 811,000 suicide attempts in the US. (AAS)

There are three female suicide attempts for each male attempt. (CDC, AAS)

According to the Violent Death Reporting System, in 2004 73% of suicides also tested positive for at least one substance (alcohol, cocaine, heroin or marijuana).

TOP 10 WAYS TO AVOID SORORITY SISTER DRAMA!! :)

whether you are a new spring pledge, or a long time sister, dealing with your sorority sisters is one of the biggest challenges of being a greek!  so many problems can be avoided if you can practice just a few of these sorority sister anti-drama tips: 

1. choose your friends wisely

even though you will get to know and love all the sisters in your chapter, you will naturally be closer to some than others. pick your big, little, roommate and pledge class friends with care. it becomes clear very quickly which girls thrive on conflict, and which members have a level head.

2. cut back on the booze

probably 90% of emotional outbursts, tears, name-calling and ruination of relationships is fueled by overindulging in alcohol. inhibitions are lowered and drinking causes girls to do and say things they would never do sober. Less drinking = less drama!

3. hands off the boyfriends

keep clear of any sister’s current boyfriend, ex boyfriend, guy she’s interested in, or guy she’s even looked at. don’t flirt with the wrong guys at mixers, and don’t hook up with any male persons who are attached to your sorority sisters. period. find your own fraternity crushes.  

4. keep busy, busy, busy

drama often comes from having too much time on your hands. an idle mind can blow things out of proportion and make a minor situation seem like the end of the world. stay busy with activities, academics, philanthropy, leadership and healthy relationships. you won’t have time to get involved in overemotional scenes. 

5. get a thicker skin

whether you are the diva, or the one on the receiving end of a sister’s outburst, you need to toughen up! not everything is a criticism, or a stab in the back, or the ruination of a relationship. let things roll off your back. don’t be the one to find fault with every girl, or the one who has hurt feelings over everything. quickly let go of grudges too. consider sorority life as training for the real world.

6. be known as the calm one

if you establish a reputation of being a clear thinking, loyal, steady sister who does not engage in petty theatrics, then those who do, will not engage you. it’s no fun to involve a sister who calmly refuses to get all excited over the latest personal problem.

7. just say no to gossip.

gossip is the #1 killer in a sorority. don’t do it, don’t listen to it and don’t believe it. re-read your sorority creed instead, and remind yourself why you joined greek life. without being the sorority “goodie-goodie” try to promote anti-gossiping within your chapter. or politely walk away if a juicy gossip session is happening near you.

8. spread the love

replace the drama in your chapter with more positive experiences. if there was more love, respect, appreciation, kindness, and tolerance ~ the damaging drama would immediately plummet! recommend that your chapter increase the frequency of its traditions, rituals and bonding activities. sisters who feel the warmth of friendship are less likely to bicker. 

9. don’t worry ~ be happy

happy sisters are contented sisters. is your chapter doing enough to just be happy? sometimes sororities get so bogged down with meetings, requirements, fundraising, deadlines and recruitment pressures that they forget to just relax and have fun. step up the fun-factor!

10. deal with the drama

this is especially true for sisters on the executive board, who experience extra sisterhood conflicts. as a chapter leader, you may need to listen to member’s complaints and problems, but you don’t need to be eaten alive by them! remain calm at all times and don’t become emotionally invested in other’s issues. recommend positive solutions with the aid of your advisors and fellow board members. don’t shoulder the emotional burdens of the entire chapter alone. seek help, deflect the drama and thoughtfully solve problems ~ before they grow out of control and do more damage.
