Boiled Easter Eggs

I chose this topic because it reminded me so much of my mother.  My mom would make sure we colored eggs every year for Easter.  It was a tradition in our family to do that and it was fun.  It gave my mom and me mother and daughter time.  I passed the same tradition on to my son.  It also reminds me of Easter egg hunts which were also fun.  It's just something fun and gave us kids something to do.

~Chocolate Eggs~

Its Spring time to for the trees and flowers to bloom and weather to begin to get warm with many sunny mornings. The best part about spring is Easter Holiday and my favorite Easter treat is milk chocolate eggs. Its something about chocolate that a woman feel like shes floating on a cloud, simply amazing. When making eater baskets for my children over the years I make sure its colorful with jelly beans, green grass, colorful eggs, and I never forget the chocolate eggs, which is a special treat just for Mommy...lol! As you can see I do love my chocolate eggs ~smiles~

I love Easter time because I enjoy celebrating the life and death of Jesus and for me the best candy comes out. I am not an egg eater so I am not excited with the hard boiled eggs, can't stand the smell of the dye either lol. I love jelly beans,  but only really the Just Born jelly beans. My absolute favorite though is the chocolate. I am a huge fan of the Reeses Easter Eggs. I dont care what anyone says,  they don't taste the same as the regular Reeses Cups. I also enjoy the big hollow eggs and bunnies.

I chose this because it takes me back when my kids were small and they were so excited that the Easter Bunny was on its way and we would have a blast making a mess dying eggs and getting them ready so the bunny could eat his share to show that he came.  Lawdddd me and rl would be sick for days after eating all those eggs.  But it was worth the smile on their faces!

By definition it is a sudden, intuitive perception of or insight into the reality or essential meaning of something, usually initiated by some simple, homely, or commonplace occurrence or experience. It also means a literary work or section of a work presenting, usually symbolically, such a moment of revelation and insight.

I wouldn't ever change my name because my mother named me. An she can see how I am truly when I come up with ideas and make them an reality.

I have asked myself why I was given the name Big Sister Buckwild, and after taking a look in the mirror, I found the answer, Websters defines buckwild as meaning to be unconstrained and uncontrolled, And I am definately that at times, but always in a good way, the Urban Dictionary defines buckwild as for someone, or something to go crazy in some way, that to describes me. I am very happy with the name that was chosen for me, as I am one to speak my mind, and to not hold any punches about anything, to go buckwild and be uncontrolled. I don;t have a second choice for another name, as there is no other name that completely describes Kotton Colletti-Xue Correct.

   Being Big Sister Buckwild, sets me apart from anyone else, at first I was like why can't I have
a name like refined, sophisticated, and some of the other names the others sisters carry, but i would not change my name for anything in this world, Big Sister Buckwild describes me to a T.

Creativity..
      is a phenomenon whereby something new and somehow valuable is formed. Creativity can also be defined "as the process of producing something that is both original and worthwhile" or "characterized by originality and expressiveness and imagination".

I was perfectly named ⊹Big Sister Creativity⊹ of PDP... a name that I strive to live up to in my SL. I enjoy mental stimulation and challenges that allow me to express my talents and skills. It seems to come naturally to me to decorate, to write, to promote events and to even empower others to show their creative selves.

Big Sister OutSpoken

My Big Sister name has a few different meanings to it. To this day, I still wonder why my sisters decided to name me Outspoken. I am and can be very outspoken. At times it can be a good thing and at times it can be a bad thing. If someone wants to know the truth then yes come to me cause I'm going to tell u the truth weather you want to hear it or not. It get me in trouble though cause sometimes certain things are just not for me to say and because I'm outspoken I will say something anyway. So yes (LOL) being the outspoken ones has it perks and bad things. If I could rename myself I think my name would be Big Sister Evolve. I say this because right now I'm in a place in my life where I'm evolving into a new space and mind frame. When I'm done evolving I will be a better more smarter mature person. I want to be able to tell other women my story my experiences and hopefully they will be able to evolve also.

My Big Sister name says a lot about me, and what the first impressions of me are. It means I'm relaxed, in situations and sophisticated. In truth, this is who I am whether on SL or RL. People usually describe me as quite laid back, so it was no surprise that the sisters gave me that name at my crossing. If I had one option to change my name,  I would change it to Lynx. There are two sides to me, Refined is one...but like a Lynx, that can change when provoked. Its a small but mighty animal, kind of like me. I do believe that Refined is an accurate representation of me though, so I'm glad that this  Sisters saw this part of me from the very beginning.

My name Big Sister Passionate means strong feelings and strong beliefs.  This is one of the words that is fits me.  I am naturally passionate about many things but I am most passionate about people's feelings and how people are being treated.  I believe that people should be treated with humanity.  I am loving and passionate. 


Another good Big sister name for me would be nurturer.  I am definitely a nurturer by nature, which is embedded in me quite strong.  I try to support people and encourage them although lots of times I need it the most.  Being a nurturer also means being caring and loving.  It has several meanings but I just named a few.

I was given the Big Sister Name shy because I tend to be A little more reserved than others. I believe Big Sister Sassy would be a perfect fit for me now..  It may seem incongruent, but that's how I am. A really shy woman when I'm still getting to know someone. Then, when I'm comfortable,  I become openhearted and sassy, a little daring and amusing.

Pleasing Rose..this name fits me so much. I was named Pleasing Rose because of my selfless spirit, from a shoulder, to a hand, to a kind word..That is the essence of me. Roses have been known to symbolize: love, beauty, passion, devotion, among many other things. So for me, to be considered a rose is a true honor. If I absolutely had to choose my name I would be Resilient. I'd choose resilient because no matter what life has dealt me, no matter what I may ever have to go through, I will always remain true to myself. I will always be gentle and kind, I will always choose happiness. I will always make it. 

~THE MEANING BEHIND MY NAME BIG SISTER SOPHISTICATED~

The name Big Sister Sophisticated was chosen for me, I believe I recognized for my skills in fashion.  I carry myself like a lady in public at all times. Sophisticated means having, revealing, or proceeding from a great deal of worldly experience and knowledge of fashion and culture. Which I think describes me in a nut shell. On the Urban side of things sophistication is a mix of knowing when a joke's over, caring somewhat about the consequences of your actions, talking about something of reasonable importance, having a good dose of common sense, not letting your immediate reactions control your life, knowing how much information is TOO much information, and not wearing wearing your jeans lower than your underwear.

If I could choose and 2nd name it would Big Sister Classy Diva because I am most definitely Classy and a Diva. I cherish my knowledge of knowing how to look and act like a lady.

Seeing *PINK and SILVER*

Blog Topic: The PDP Colors are Pink and Silver... Which one is your favorite or is it a tie? Why?

  
It is a Tie for me. I love both colors and can't even pick one over the other. I love the soft pink color that makes me think of Bubblegum, lollipops and soft slippers. I love the shiny silver color that makes me feel sexy thus I wear silver for my jewelry accessories .. bracelets, anklets, earrings, necklace even my wedding ring. Both colors combined look fantastic... our paddles, scepter, jewelry and clothing really stand out. Both colors radiate confidence, femininity, strength yet softness. Pink is flirty, sexy, alluring and fun. Silver is stable, smart and erotic. Pink and Silver colors worn together or alone truly reflect... Me.

WHAT IS MY FAV COLOR SILVER OR PINK

Hello sisters, my favorite color would be silver, there is a certain glisten to the color silver, shine bright, like a diamod, my car is silver, i prefer platinum bling in my rl life as well as my second life. I feel like the color silver shines brightest over anything you can wear, if i go out i like to wear grays or anything close to silver, to me it is majestic. if there were anything else i would say about the color silver, it would be that you can wear anything with it, accessorize anything to fit silver. i love the pi delta pi colors, but silver would be my fav.

I love pink cause it defines romance and we all love romance.  Pink has always made me feel pretty. When I look at pink, I think of innocence, gentleness, calmness, and babies.
Pink is calming in soft tones. Very gentle and soothing.

Pi Delta Pi sorority colors are pink and silver which is one of the reasons I chose to join this sorority. Out of the two colors my favorite is of course pink. I like pink because is a soft and blush color, Its truly girly as I am. It looks beautiful against my skin and I love it and makes any room feel blissful.

Loyalty

To me loyalty is one of the most important parts of a relationship. It means sticking it out until the end. Loyalty is being that ride or die friend, or family member. To me it means never turning you back on the people that you love, despite a rough situation. Loyalty means, always remembering you allegiance to your people, and never forgetting to put your love for them before yourself. It is giving of yourself even when it is difficult.

Hello Sisters, this is Buckwild.....what is loyalty, loyalty to me is holding true to yourself and your sisters, or whomever you claim to be loyal to. loyalty is being there for that person, no matter what is going on, if that person tells you something in confidence, you keep it, and hold it to your heart as close as you hold your friendship and loyalty to that person, being in sl, has shown me the loyal and the dis loyal, being in a Sorority shows you loyalty and how other ppl can show their loyalty to you. love my pdp sisters and my loyalty is only to my studband, family, and my Sorority.

Loyalty to me means being supportive of a individual.  Always being there when they need you and during a time of need.  Loyalty is being devoted to another or something.  Standing in unity together never leaving but always being with or for.  Loyalty is very important when you have a Sisterhood like ours.  It means standing together no matter what, even when the chips are down.  Always stand with your sister, and be there when she needs you and even when she doesn't.  Being loyal is a hard job for some, but easy for others who truly understand the meaning of the word LOYALTY.

Blog Topic: Loyalty ...  What it means to you and what it should mean in a Sorority.

The best definition and/or reflection of loyalty is faithfulness or a devotion to a person, country, group, or cause. Being loyal involves truly giving oneself to only that one person or group or cause. This is not straddling the fence or jumping ship at the first signs of trouble. Loyalty should hold fast in bad times and good times. 

Loyalty is a rare thing these days when people feel they have more options (groups, places, Sororities/Fraternities) to hop to and from without consequences. Loyalty should be earned and once earned should be rewarded with faithfulness, honesty and valiant efforts.
Loyalty should be constant and not wavering.

My *loyalty* is my bond to my Sorority and to my Sisters.
